Hotel Food & Beverage Department
The food and beverage (F&B) department in a hotel is responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel’s dining and beverage service.
This includes everything from planning and preparing meals to serving guests in the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and other food and beverage outlets.
The F&B department is typically led by a food and beverage manager, who is responsible for overseeing the operation and ensuring that it is running smoothly and efficiently.
The F&B manager may also be responsible for developing menus, pricing dishes and drinks, and managing the budget for the department.
Other staff members in the F&B department may include chefs, cooks, servers, bartenders, and host/hostesses.
The F&B department may also work closely with the hotel’s sales and marketing team to promote and sell the hotel’s dining and beverage options to guests and to the local community.
